I'm an old git. Living in Northants.
Also known as Dog -|FVM|- or [CC]Dog

Bf1942 vet and still play regularly now. Also part of CC. The conclave Desert Foxes. Have been (1942 and Halflife) server admin and forum creator in my time but nowadays do not have the time to dedicate to a generally thankless, life sapping task.

Total NOOB to 2142 (have 5 unlocks, not used yet as saving them up) but the ground based fighting is simple enough. Flying seems odd and definately not got hang of it yet. Especially landing.

Might not be here long as banned at moment. :P

hi and welcome to the forums.
funny that you´ve got problems flying and landing cause imo that was much much harder in bf2 than in 2142. you´ll get used to it. ;)

Hello and welcome to the forum =) yea as f1rest@rter said IMO its harder to fly or land in BF2 oder BF1942... loved it when you started with the vertical take-off starter from the carrier... and crashed after 5 seconds into water lol =P

If you cant fly or land in BF2142.. just go on an empty server and practice it there =)
Or ask some peeps here for help =) Im sure everyone will help you then

BUT if you dont wanna fly or land then just go on the Timeless servers like NS or CQ and not the titan ones =) or like Timeless Gibraltar because there are hardly any flying vehicles.

And dont forget the AdminKnifeEvent! Knife an admin on any servers with the tag ThInGi (could be different than this here) and get 20 k credits on the forum for every knifed admin but I think only once for everyone lol
If you get all of them, then you will get a special amount of credits =) you can spend that money on arcade games, the casino or poker (but watch out!!! lol)
Because catziggy made toooooooooooooooooo much stuff for this forum to spend the money on lol
You can even spend your money on avatars and equip them with items (thats useless but it looks nice lol)
OR you can ask Horn3t to make you an avatar =) If he got time then he maybe makes you one

Hello mate. Im crap but the main point for me is the fun of playing. Stuff the stats..not bothered. Just play and have fun. Does get spoiled occasionally by some assholes, but they are quickly weeded out.

Oh, didnt know we werent allowed to say the "A" word.
Anyways, well I am rubbish at playing, but yes I do always go into a squad and try to do what I reckon is right..that is unless they just boot me out for no reason, which leaves me unsqadded. Grrr. Only happened once..this afternoon. Reckon it was the spotty 13yr olds just back from school, lol.
Dont want an old nooby in their elite squad. Yawn.

Ah lol... thats the best attitude they can have =)
Normally you open a squad with some friends and let some Not-That-Good-Players join and then you can help them and give them tips... or something like that lol =) if they dont practice, they wont learn how to play
