Hey again lol,
"Pod Campers"!
There was an ABSOLUTE RETARD on the Timeless Suez server this AM, (approx 08:00 hrs - 18 Jan 08). Whereby a player in a ridiculously idiotic example of selfish play, simply occupied a pod for a ridiculous length of time, totally denying its use to any of their own team. Obviosuly he either did this deliberately to deny its use to his team, or is such a retard, that he entered the Pod and then decided to go AFK.
As I post this, he was in the pod from approximately 08:05 - 08:28.
Player name = Schwachleister.
Would you mind reviewing the relevant evidence regarding this complete numpty, and demonstrating to him one of the uses of a "Size 10 boot" please :)!

I check for pod blockers at the same time i check for AA spammers, pretty much
everytime i get in a pod, plus at any time i'm in a titan gun. If i see these
in a pod for more than about 15 secs they get kicked, well that does depend
on if we're in the end-game or not, if during sheilds down there is a pod
blocker, he'll more likely get kicked sooner. Altough this does happen
It does not tend to happen to a great extent and its usually newer
players who sit in the pods, i presume they feel safe there.
Its even safer in the lobby. ;)

LOL I agree,
However, 23 minutes m8, (shileds were down) the point made has kinda been missed!!!
It could well of been accidental like you say. This player would of been
Kicked for this. Unfortunately with no admin present. These things go on
all through the night UK too i'm affraid.
Your point made and noted and many other discussions we've had about
these things in the past too. We'll check the auto admin idle player setting.

Hehe, no worries Hornet :)!!
Unfortunately with this particular issue, adjusting the Auto Idle Kick setting won't have any effect :(. Your current settings for this are already "perfect" :)!!
EA, in their infinite wisdom totally excluded the main Titan Guns, the Titan AA Guns, and the Pods also from being included within the standard Auto Idle handling procedures :(!
Meaning that players like this chappie can jump into any of the above positions, and then disappear down to their local Newsagent for a pack of smokes and a 4 pack of Red Bull ;). Safe in the knowledge that they won't be Auto Kicked from the game in their absense :(!
EA could all too easily fix this issue, but I guess that would involve some degree of common sense and actually listening to consumer feedback hehehe. Exactly the same applies to the Titan AA Gun spamming issue, which they could at least make an attempt to alleviate simply by coding in an "Overheat" function for the Titan AA Guns, just like EVERY OTHER Automatic Weapon within BF2142 has, except those LOLOL.
They're probably all so "Coked up" at EA on the millions made from their usual bug infested games to ever give a flying stuff about how they could make some small, but highly effective improvments ;)!!
Well this is an issue that only admins whom are present can sort.
So give us a shout in shout box or xfire a known admin to help your
probs asap. ;)
