We need a favicon ico for our website. ANyone up to making one for us? Even if it just says TG

A favicon is the tiny tiny icon you see at the front of a URL on some sites
If you save the website in your favourites it saves it there as well. Check out www.pbbans.com (http://www.pbbans.com) for an example.
16x16, not a very big area to get much detail in.... TG maybe all you can have n such a tiny space,

ooh i get you now. 16mm x 16mm?
i can make us a logo when i get home if u like. thats all you need.
ill do it in illustrator so i can make it bigger or smaller if we need to use it for something else.

uhm... ok not sure wtf just happened here...

you still need the 16x16 format unless there's new special cropping feature for browsers that fixes the 32x32 image to work with the address-box icon, otherwise it will just be white or default browser settings.

all modern browsers support 32x32 ico(auto resizing the ico), IE did that from 2004 the only browser that might have trouble is the apple one but I doubt that, I think even the sloppy coded safari can

"auto resizing" = cropping, you lose ALOT of paintwork and details just like akaSloth found out by experiencing himself, 16x16 is what normally fits the bookmarks and in the addressbar so i would stick with that unless your icon to be turned into a pile of unrecognized dodo = gibberish.
