Only this weekend I have experienced this nOOb behaviour from several players. Personally, I think it is cheap and only low life scum would perform such an action.
What - if anything is Timeless going to do about it? I don't even know if it is new but I have NEVER encountered it until this weekend.
Ehm lol if I were you I wouldnt say that bad things about RDXbunnyhoppers =) its true they sometimes spoil the gameplay because its so logic... lol nah
Many admins do that (I learned too) and I think that this is a reason why Timeless is that popular, for its FF = OFF .. but FF = OFF also means there are many RDXhoppers
And btw just get a good gun and shoot them from afar =P Very easy then
So GL & HF on the battlefield
Think Timeless wont change anything.. because have you seen what rankings the servers have? Yes they are in top10 of world ranking

The strange thing is, that this is the very first time I have seen it. And I've been on this server for some 4 months now. I still think its for nOObs only, regardless tbh

As Opozzum points out - Timeless servers are FF off, with FF off you are going to get people who use RDX. Like it or not it is just the wau it is here - and it won't change.
We enjoy using RDX, we enjoy seeing bodies fly all over the place on top of a Titan, we are not n00bs, all the regulars on Timeless can handle themselves with guns and knives just as much as with RDX.
At the end of the day it's a game and should be fun, people keep coming back to Timeless because it *is* fun. If you don't like the RDX bunny hoppers you have 2 options 1) "If you can't beat 'em join 'em" 2) Go to FF on servers :)
or you could shoot them before they blow you up.

So...ok how do I do this? I cant drop just one RDX so can anyone 'educate' me?
Soon the server will be full of it but has this server just gone FF? Because as I have mentioned, this is the first time I have seen it
Me and Clark 15 take em out in the jump.. so satisfying :)
In the start it can be a pain.. but later on they are easy to counter.. Fire em down before they reach you.. place a apm where you stand etc. etc.

man yesterday saw some guy on my clanserver trying to get to high roof with rdy and we have ff=100% he got there but like deadmeat i had to stop and lough so hard. i hate tham too put some apms so they cant get close. and like necro said shotgun works just fine. . .
i prefere knifing them when there not looking much more fun or just get a krylov and batter them on the top of the titan like fish used to, if non of them work then what i say is "if u cannot beat em join em" ;)

I can't remember the first time I came to Timeless, but I do remember thinking the same thing as you about RDX. But I just saw it as a challenge to adapt to that style of gameplay.
I'm not going to tell you how to do it 'cos no one told me, you have to work it out for yourself, but it's not cheating and does not involve any kind of keyboard macros. All I will say is look around in the Titan hangar near the pods.
The server has always been FF off and has always been full of RDX 'n00bs', for you to miss it in 4 months was a fluke.

I first were angry with those guys too, "this is so stupid and make no sense... in real life you dont run around with C4 and blow up the enemy =)"
Then a friend told me how to do that... and now I normally play with assault kit but when Im on Timeless servers I more often use the RDXhopping method =)
I first thought that this is not possible, because whenever you drop RDX and wanna switch to detonator and blow it up, it keeps switching back to RDX and drops another one, that is what you mean, isnt it? So my friend said, you just have to 1. Drop RDX 2. Jump whilst switching to detonator 3. Then blow it up
You can practice that and you will become a lot faster =)
Hope this helped to kill some of them and you will no longer say they are "n00bs" as you did before lol

First of all. Happy New Year!!
Secondly I really didn't want to post on RDX bunny hopping ****'s, but hey ho.
They really do spoil the titan games for me at times and for the life of me I can not understand how they can throw, jump and detonate the rdx all at the same time, cos thats how it looks.
So the answer is stay off the titan even though it does take away a large part of the fun assaulting the titan and get the launch sites.
I think they do exactly like you said =) 1. Throw 2. Jump 3. Switch 4. Blow up =) if you do that very often you will become very good and faster =) so keep on practicing that and ! New RDX-Champion or something like that

Not a chance opozzum. I really dispise them:69: Harsh i know but thats how much I think it spoils the game. Ambushing with RDX fair enough but not the hopping.
Anyway it's old hat and it's been thrashed out a number of times on the forums. So I just stay away if they start their funny business:46:

.....i think everythings said - about this useless discussion heh?....and by the way i never laughed so much when the whole b2b Squad is together with other Regulars - its really fun to see how the guys blew themselves on the roof throwing packages during the flight on Top and blewing Enemys away......as Yummeh said we should film it and make a competition...loooool....its a Game !!! And if you cant beat them join em.....;-)
Well i gotta like the RDX party, this brought a lot of us together in the 1st place.

APM mines handle rdx bunnies really well. Then after your APMs are used up just do some bunny hopping to get out of there with your rdx, land in the confusion and collect some tags. - classic:43: :12:

As it goes each to there own but not for me. I enjoy my gaming and have fun. When you start jumping about the fun goes out of it for me so I go elsewhere. Easy solution for me.

i do RDX a bit, not all the time though.
I like to play a mobile sniper, but when u know theres a big group around the corner.
Or u hear the camo thingy click off behind u and u know he's got his knife out, first thing i do is run away and throw RDX at my feet, then boom!
Knifer goes to the sky!
But i have the problem of throwing one to the floor, trying to change to trigger, but throwing another one instead then dying.
And it really pisses me off :(

I have tried it myself (Don't yell at me!) and the thing that kills me the fastest (besides the f***ing frades) is people shooting me when i am just out of range in open areas. RDXing works best in close condensed areas, so to avoid people like me stay in places where you can get them as they come into the open to get you.

No Boons cannot use RDX Only skilled trained operatives.

I hate people who only ever use 1.
No problem killing some people who use more than 1, but the people who use 1 instantaneously explode the second they hit the deck.. best thing to do is put an rdx down and wait for them.. it's the only way.
Shame really, I'd like to use the Shotgun/Krylov every now and again.. but people who use 1 RDX makes it impossible.. lol.

To me i think a person who complains about another about packing just 1 RDX is
complaining on the same level as a person who complains about using RDX.
I don't think i've ever packed just one, i want em all, i wanna stick 5 pieces
up 5+ peeps rears and then I want at least 2 kills from my APM's and then i
wanna reload and do it all again and again, all the time there is the pathetic
Carbine and 3 frags and of course the blade to get me by.
When someone is constantly poddin with just one RDX, i'm finding a way around
this/their tactic.... Improvising..... drinkin C1D3R looolz... :56:

RDX macros?!?! I saw a lot of guys in the past using macros to use rdx on enemy titan. Easy to use with some keyboards..... :o/
By the way, dont get worked up about rdx jumper. The most of them can be killed easy from a long or mid distance. ;) An another fact is.......the team with the most rdx bitches will lose the round! ;)
So, when you see a lot of these guys on enemy titan, just try to get silos.
(actually fantastico learned it :p)

True. neither have I seen anyone bring back from the dead someone whose head was blown off by a tank by electrocuting their feet with a defribulator or someone carrying enough ammo in his back pack to resupply a 30 shell carrying tank.

Surely spawn camping isnt allowed. Someone racked up over 40 kills doing this. The only macro the army would use, is on Excel!!! I just log off now until these losers have finished. Annoying.

Its not just the PAC spawn area, its also in the EU harbour spawn area - mostly in that building on the right where most players spawn. They run straight in there and dance around like nOObs. It is really starting to get on my tits.
I know what you mean, BUT the PAC cant spawn another place, EU can.. so it is spawncamping yeah but not as bad as the PAC spawncamping

it does ruin the gameplay a little bit but also a challenge... kill him before he klls you....

Totally agree, as a 'mature' gamer I enjoy the fun aspects of FF off. WE have choices in life, if you don't agree move on
