yeah, ya can make movies,
i want use it for watching battlerecorder-files but i have some problems
with it

I read the HELP and it says me some things that arent true.. so does anyone know how to use that tool? lol

i dont know how to make movies yet, but i think ya can make only new movie from
a battlerecorder file

ya have to create a new folder "demos" into the main game folder
C:\Programme\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\Demos\
then copy a battlerecorder file into that folder.

Now ya can see the file and ya can launch "play freecam" or "record new Track"

my prob is, after i launch play freecam its shows me the loadingscreen, when it
should switch to the gameplay i crash back to destop.

any ideas?

I had that CTD too (crash to desktop) when it was ready with loading... I just deleted a file called "radial.cdb" and it was ok then =) You can find this file in the BF2142 directory
Just make sure that the options are set like this
-Protected system files hidden - deactivate this option
-Show hidden files - activate this option
And you will find a new file in your BF2142 directory, then just delete or give another name for radial.cdb and start the game... this solution also works for the games who freezes and who wont load till 100% (stuck at about 50%)

Hope this helped... if not, then try reinstalling it, this always helps, because you delete the radial.cdb file too so =)

Hmm here its working fine now? ... Do you have NS installed? I dont know if this works lol but I installed NS then too and patched to 1.40.. but lol nah I dont think this will work..
Try reinstalling then =/

Did you patch again to 1.40 after NS?
-BF2142 install
-patch to 1.40
-NS install
-patch to 1.40 again =)

If these things really dont work.. then try the reinstalling =) hope this will work for you then otherwise Im sorry because I dont know any other things to help =(
