ive just formatted my computer and put XP back on cause vista was poor... and ive installed all the drivers for my monitor and mr graphics card amd it wont let me put the resolution up above 1024 x 768 anyone got any ideas whats wrong ?

Is it a 19" flat screen?
I think thats the default windows size for that size monitor. Not an expert on screen resolutions. Its the one I use anyway lol.
try looking to see if the manufacturers have updated the drivers, and re-update with the newest drivers. I've just needed to update my graphics drivers cos of problems
yeah ive sorted it now bloody DVI cable was not in good shape lol so im using normal lead :( should i get HD lead or another DVI?
yes cat its 19" widescreen although i did not recive any drivers its just plug and play

ahhha. Find a driver for it then. :)
You don't need drivers for your monitor m8 unless its got extra multimedia gear etc on it.. its plug and play.
