Well, my game just crashed (nothing unusual so far) but then I got his error message:

...well, I say error message; it seems to me more like something a blind mad old witch might shriek at someone in a cave.

Oh, I get an insanity message form her, nothing to worry about, just your computer's memory temporarily corrupting, I think...

How many memory did you use ?? and wich one ??
Are you using ATI omega drivers? I hear that this can cause this 'rare' message.
I also see that this could be server/network related. Don't however think there
is anything wrong with your RAM m8. This will be down to poor programming. ;)

Yeah, I assumed that it was an artifact of some poorly written code in the 1.4 patch.

Something like 'your memory is not sane'

Yea recently i've been having nothing but problems with 2142, i got a similar message the other night that wouldn't go.. i had to reinstall the game & repatch everything for the game to work.
Error was something like:
"memory.dll Sanity check: -689236342 blocksize (4000 MB) dosen't seem sane"
