I hate wasting my time with films that have been highly anticipated or over-hyped which turns out to be a flop, we need to know what films out there are really good, worth buying, going to the cinema to watch and forking out a few quid for the DVD etc. This can incude documentaries, TV series and DVD's too.

I will start with the 1st movie and i think everyone knows that =)
Simpsons - The Movie
I will give it only 8 out of 10, its really funny and i always had to laugh in every scene lol =) BUT !!! the really bad thing on this movie is, its too short.. come on guys the simpsons exist for 20 years (i think so) but the film lasts a bit longer than 1 hour =( i was really disappointed to recognise that =(
I dont know how long the movie is already in USA but here in germany its now available on dvd and blue-ray

The Bourne Films (Identity, Supremacy, Ultimatum) All brillant action films, just watch them all the way throught, great story throughtout and no CGI used anywhere in the 3 films! 10/10 in my book.
My usual favs all 9/10 or 10/10,
Godfather I & II(NOT III!), Casino, Goodfellas, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Heat, The Departed, Anchorman, Carlito's Way, Scarface, Donnie Brasco, South Park Movie.
Oh and Weekend at Bernies(joke) lol
TV, it's got be Sopranos, but theres 7 series, close to 100 hours of mafia madness. Best TV series ever made! :)

Part 1 9/10 this was funny and great story =)
Part 2 8/10 .. not that many jokes or as funny as the first part was but you still can watch that movie because its really cool xD
Part 3 ??/10 I dont know what I shall give this movie.. there were not that many jokes left.. and the story was much serious than funny =( but I guess if you watched the first 2 parts you HAVE to watch the 3rd part =)
A trilogy is only a trilogy if you watched all 3 parts lol

Super Troopers : 8/10 very funny.
Lock/Stock + snatch 9/10 Class movies.
300 : 9/10 i have even gone and got me a talking Leonitus figure that says lines from the movie its cool.
Transformers (the cartoon movie) 9/10 the best cartoon movie of all time.
Rise of the foot soldier... 8/10 Very good film, very voilent so you guys
will enjoy this lolz :w40:

Well Blackadder is a 10 death race is a 8 plenty of action there and for Saba Taken really enjoyed this film starring Liam Nielson

I watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine and i would rate it to 8 (maybe even 8,5). I realy enjoyed the whole movie and i think it is better than the earlier x-men films. Great action, decent story about Wolverine (could be more detailed, but you cant fit all in one film).

Just watched this yesterday and i liked it very much, 9/10 points from me :D
Nice effects, good action and intresting story line (alien / human racial tension). I also liked the filming style, not so traditional, short security camera footage between scenes etc.

the hurt locker is a very good film. there is loads of scenes which frankly don't make much sense for example the sniping one, but the tension from start to finnish is so gripping i never got disconnected from watching the movie (hmm don't know how to say it any better, hope you get the idea).
directed by kathryn bigelow, remember "point break"? :)

I actually hate to say this but this was bizarrly one of the best movies ive seen this year........... wait for it.....

my wife made me take her and suprisingly its good for so many reasons... and not the usual ones for a movie.. ie plot..acting..etc
firstly I saw it in a cinema full of teenage girls... soo f***ing funny.... the ohhhh... ahhh everytime that edward bloke comes on was soooooooo funny... and the end I was pissing myself at the collective reaction of the audience.. lmao
secondly I expected to be bored out of mymind after watching the first one but I wasnt.. the directer/writers actually got the action/mushiness quotent about right so It was A LOT better than i was expecting.. always nice to be supprised.. would make a good date movie where you dont HAVE to be bored watching something 'she' wants to watch.
finally that soppy faced twat isnt actually in it that much (much to my wife's chargrin) and the central male charcter is (althoguh wet as a puddle, and about as clingy as duct tape) away from the romance actually quite well acted and 'tough'..
so a supprising 8/10 just not one to watch on your own (saba you will love it..)

from one of the most important books ever written as far as im concerned. It has already won a venice film festival nomination before its even out.

films actually been out since 2007, but has taken that long to get into cinemas in the UK. it also a bit of a marmite film where some love it and some think its boring. but I do recommend it.
its basically a film like the blair witch and filmed in the same way ie handycam, with a few effects tweaked on afterwards. and for once (unlike the blair-witch) it actually works. adds to the whole atmosthere of the whole thing.
while like most horror movies you would actually need to be a particularrly sensitive/anxious person to begin with to get scared it really is a nice change from the usual gore or shock value horror flicks out there.
also it is a little let down a little bit by the last 10 seconds of the film but I wont spoil it for you.
"Into The Wild" what a great film.

I havent read every post.
But Iron Man was surprisingly good!
At first when I saw the trailer, I had no interest. A friend of miene had seen it and told me that it was a "MUST" to see it. So I did and I agreee.
Iron man is not the typical kids super hero movie.. Action packed good movie.
I give it 9/10

City of God This movie is the top 3 best movies Iīve ever seen.
Itīs made in Brazil, Rio and they speak Portuguese but donīt get scared off by that.. This movie is mindblowing!!
I give it 10/10! Iīve seen it 4 times and I still think itīs one of the best movies ever created.
Best part about it, is that itīs a true story! Itīs ****ing awesome!!

i thought it was a very good film and enjoyed the cilches (i think i spelled that wrong) from the series. lots of action and suspense. i didnt give it a 10/10 because i thought it should have been longer, And also some parts of the films are completely unrealistic..
1 thing i liked was that in every fight seen someone got hurt.. whereas in the series the A team came out of a fight without killing anyone :p

I would like to recommend a very special movie.
Donīt know if you seen it, but it is nothing youīve seen before.
This movie getīs only 4.9 on IMDB... I have absolutely no idea why!

This movie is like nothing youīve seen before.
It uses A LOT of symbolism and in this case itīs Hansel and Gretel.
I highly recommend that you watch this movie.
It is a must see.
I have not watched the first movie, but will watch it tomorrow. It gets better rating on IMDB.

9/10 almost 10/10.
This movie was awesome! I didnīt watch any trailer or anything, so there was no possible spoilers for me.. I was sitting on the edge of the sofa through the entire movie in excitement!
I highly recommend it! Brilliant acting and the story is deep and super exciting all the time!

Based on a true story. Former musician Frankie Wilde is a legend within the Ibiza club scene for being the most inspired DJ around. On top of that, he has a beautiful model wife named Sonja Slowinski, although many within his social circle don't see her as being a good influence on him. But Frankie has disappeared from the Ibiza club scene now for a year, with most only speculating that his life has degenerated into squalor based on his excessive lifestyle in Ibiza. In reality, Frankie's current disappearance and his ultimate fate is due in part to his excessive substance abuse, especially of cocaine, but also partly due to exposure to continual loud music and a physical disorder: he went completely deaf, with no possibility of getting his hearing back. As he went from partial hearing to total deafness, Frankie believed he could still eke out a living as a DJ without telling many of his descent into total deafness. As Frankie went through a self-imposed isolation to deal with his deafness in his own unique way, it wasn't until he killed the giant badger that haunted him that he could reinvent himself and his life. He did this with the help of a young woman named Penelope Garcia. After his reinvention, Frankie first tried to capture his old glory but his current disappearance ends up being really for his and Penelope's sake.

Boondocks Saints II was really bad in my opinion..
Guess it just shows that we have absolutely different taste in movies.

Into The Wild.
