Remember what Paul Hardcastle said back in the day. The average age of the combat soldier in Vietnam was nineteen. nnnnnnnnnnn nineteen.
Well I am bored here at work on this bank holiday so have taken the average age of the forum members' (All that have supplied age) and the average age is 28. Probably too old to have gone to Vietnam but not too old to play war games on their computer.
Anyway, back to the excitement of work. 1 hour to go.
Aye, but theres no way thats indicative of the average age of players on our servers. Cause the younger are even less likely to come looking for a forum I think.

But true based on the data available.
Title should have read ' The average age of player that comes to this forum based on the 17 people that added their age on their profile and might be lying is .... '
It just didn't fit.

Actually i made an educated guess before reading the 1st post and i quite agree... 13 ?
Judging from the pants they talk in-game i'd guess a tad younger tho. i quite agree with Olorian. ;)
Hey, I talk a lot of bollox in game (ask Roz). But at least i restrict it to my squad ;)

Hehehe...I was on the Northern Strike beta cycle with Combat Testing, you had to register with via a teamspeak server....it was funny to hear some of the kids on there - very high pitched voices....one of them claimed to be 13 but he must have been younger than that :D
My profile age is correct I'm sorry to say....I'm too old for this aren't I?

I m 25 and still growing :-)

I am 46. I started playing BF2142 on the release day and at the first round of promotions of the top three ranks I was made leutenant General. I kept that rank until I stopped playing on xmas eve 2006. For the last two months I hovered just inside the top 100 mark. I imagine that made me the oldest top 100 player in the world hehe.
I returned two weeks ago to find a remarkably different game. New add on maps, all UK official servers gone :( Titans don't move on all servers and some decent privately run servers like the Timless selection.
Top 5000 now and moving up hehe.
