2142 uninstall

delete any folders you find in My Documents\Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\cache
uninstall 2142
Remove any left over files/folders from My Documents and C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts
install 2142
patch to 1.20 (N/A if you have NS)
install Northern Strike (N/A if you have NS)
patch to 1.25

had no lag 1.25 patch ok installed 2142 and northern strike then patch was ok


i just get viop problems but that is just the engine

I get stuttering game play on occasions when the server is busy and at other times for no apparent reason. My hardware is good enough to easily play this game at full and i even turned it down but still the stuttering goes on.

Don't think it's a driver problem. I have vista so don't know if it's something to do with UAC?

Please let me know if anyone else has had these problems and how they sorted them.

Well i lag whenever i get into a titan server for about 5 minutes(if i have luck)lag whenever i get inside titan/enemy titan where the console can be find.Anyone know what is the problem @ my pc/internet stuff?
Any suggestion would be nice to me!

Dude have u checked the programs u got runnin in background in task manager?

Is ur sidebar fully loaded? turn it off while gaming. UAC off will help. Any conflicts in system props? Latest sound and chipset drivers?
