hey folks can we get commander voting back, i just had a frustrating round with such a noob commander, he really spammed us by marking _every_ fscking enemy. it was hard to hear anything from the environment sounds.

In the last months we had the ability to vote a commander off NONE were succesful. People just don't generally care.
If you have an issue use xfire to contact me catziggy2007
or use the shout box above. Just say "Any admin help on Timeless Suez with fighting commande" or something.
Far more effective and less frustrating than pretty useless kick votes
if they get voted, it often gives them a nice hint that they are doing something wrong. and i had 1 or 2 rounds where our voting was successfull :)
and sadly i dont use xfire.

Understood. I too have seen 20-40 succesful commander vote kicks but i have been playing 1300 hours.
Trust me just come to the forum and shout for an admin or use our ventrilo server or download and install xfire :)

We have a couple playing all the time on Suez 48 his name is JohnDoeJersey the other who deliberately puts the titan out way of any silo ru chic something or other he has been kicked before for this by g zap but they come back to spoil the game for others jondoe sits on titan guns and puts his over the silos to bolster his score its not on admins should be on line lol

Again we have three ways for you to get in touch with admins if none are present in games.
Try not to go overboard trying to flame or embarress the culprit as it NEVER works and just makes for a poor atmosphere.

Cat its been frustrating and really hard work lol! as a rule it never bothers me but if I did it and played commander like a lot of others then my score would go through the roof and then these players would have something to call me a cheat but thats not happening they are grinding my game to a halt with there constant I can do anything attitude never mind what the rest of the team want you know lol!

why? its better than uav then when he spots as many enemies as possible... i know the sounds are a bit annoying BUT you know where every enemy is and btw on servers with 48 or more slots the radio is always a bit too much =P

Well if he is fluding the chat with "enemie spoted" its a bit anoying if ur trying to say something to ur squad or team
problem with the vote cammander option is the ppl that just vote him out to be cammander themselvs
you can give your members still orders and thy will see them =)
and spotting them the whole time is the commanders job not only but its a part of his job... so be happy to have such a commander not those who dont do anything except arty or other things..
trust me it doesnt help your team at all, if you are flooding them with "enemy spotted" this is only needed if people bypassed your team and they are in the back of the map. if you are fighting on a gate at gibraltar you fscking know where the enemies are (in front of you) and it helps to hear them fire and throwing nades. so you can decide when to rush in.
before we got this noob as commander we won each round with 60-100 tickets ahead. his spamming made it 10 tickets in the end. and we even were behind in the ticket count.
a spamming commander doesnt help you at all.

it is not about getting him voted out. it is just to give him an hint, how satisfied you are with his work.

Darix (along with Damon mostly) is a very good and respectful team player, i see him very late, late in the early hours UK, when i'm up that late. As much as i can agree with your points on this commander, i really don't think that the voting turned on would reduce the idiots on the server 24/7/365. Maybe, just maybe on this occasion, this commander would of been kicked but for the good majority of the time, the vote kick don't work. Its a real shame it takes such a huge amount of players to kick these idiots. If i and the majority of admins were in this game, we would of kicked him for you m8. ;)
