Thought I'd share some of the funnier/weirder sreenshots I've grabbed recently on 2142....post 'em here if you have any too! :D

For those that don't use it, Fraps is a great little utility for capturing screen shots/videos while in the game (see below). All you have to do is hit F10 and a screen shot is saved to the C:\Fraps directory (great for capturing those dog tag screen shots ;))

It's a free download and the free version saves the files as .BMP files.....if you pruchase it you unlock the ability to save a jpegs, etc.

i took those screens during pre-match on NS.
hehe and no it doesn't ashoof, once you found the right settings for your computer.
as soon as i entered the titan during that round i got this black screen. EU saving money on the electricity bill.

i've been part of an "outer limits" episode today.
it am pac on verdun conquest and running towards an empty apc, then i see another pac guy on my right going for it as well.
the problem is that he doesn't show up as friendly, no blue tags with his name, so i use my scope onto him and i see red tags.
i know i won't be able to kill him in time so i race with him for the apc, he gets in first, i try to avoid being ran over by saying a prayer and pressing E, i somehow manage to get inside too.
you can see the apc seats in the screenshot, he's driving the apc with my teammate manning the mortar and myself in third position.
the vehicle appears green on the minimap, but as soon as my teammate and myself bail out, the vehicle sonar spots it as ennemy.
he then drives away and disappears into the mist, not long after i lose connection...

Yes i think is an hax...i remember few years ago there was an hax for 2142 to switch team at the end of the match just to get the victory...maybe this is something like that
the problem is coming from my side, something similar happened on gibraltar recently. it's now the third time.
i saw a pac guy running free and unthreatened in the middle of the EU army. no one took any notice of him except me, i emptied a rifle magazine into him at point blank but he didn't take any damage.
he was clearly a friendly, so my computer is hallucinating or my connection is playing tricks on my game.
I´ve seen that a lot.
It´s just a glitch of some sorts, I´ve seen it and asked people if they could see this PAC guy and no one saw anything they said.
I´ve also seen kits get mixed up. Like seeing on a PAC solder, PAC support backpack but the LMG he was using was the EU machinegun with the sound too... Guess it has something to do with when you die and get revived next to an enemy kit. Like when you get revived and spawn with another kit as it was closer to your body. Stuff like that.
But seeing enemy inside vehicle with me I have never seen.
and he showed on the minimap as ennemy again.
there is a design change when a soldier picks off the backpack of a fallen ennemy soldier. a mix of both uniforms, EU soldiers with PAC gear show up much darker.
No I mean like he had the entire PAC kit, but only the EU LMG (The standard one)
