This has been around a while but i stumbled onto it just.

Search for ur own town/city/area and choose one of the nukes and see what destruction and how far from your home it goes.

You can choose from a lil 15kiloton which was used in 1945 by the US on Hiroshima. 'The uranium Hiroshima bomb was the 1st device used in war'

and go even further up to the Tzar nuke of 50megaton ' 1961, USSR, This was the largest explosion ever produced in history.'

Which if you look at the test site of this Tzar nuke on google earth you'll see the consequences of it 50 years on.

You can choose right up to an Asteroid lolz, which is a lil damaging ;)

Well i know of the 50MT Tzar bomba nuke was in 1961 (which had a design of 100MT btw) but I wonder what the largest ever made was and to this day are they any bigger or is there much more powerful weapons which are non-nuclear?

they went from big bombs in the 60's to 'tactical' warheads of 'only' a few megatons each
a ICBM has ~10 independent MIRV's each capable of at least megaton damage
also from memory these MIRVs/warheads were dial'able and they could select the final megaton yield
