Ashoof idea with static titans is very good, players can make a air drops pins:-P and is less lagg during attack on titans, cos if titans so near each other that cousing lag u can see this if for example flying gunship under titan u feel like fly in slow motion, maybe make a rulez titan can move to the first silos from each site so gunners can still be in titan guns to defend silos.Sounds good?? if not SORRY ;-)
why dont you make a poll and see how it gose if all agree i have np doing it
Theres so many other servers with fixed titans. Why do we wanna spoil what is obviously working for many people? Why is the timeless servers always full? Why should we change something that works really well? My vote and most regz will be for the non-static titans i'm certain. I can get non-static titan servers all day long and most are full of lower rank, less skilled players. Can't see me playin static and if i can speak for Epox? I doubt he would either, along with a lot of regz....

Well I for one think that's the most noobish idea ever, to get a titan drop pin lol
But seriously, a titan static server is a handicapped titan server that can't handle moving titans, it was introduced by ea not as a different game play mode but so that certain servers could be able to host titan mode.
Finally if I ever wander on to a titan can't move server, I have never stayed longer than 2mins or however long it took me to realise that they can't move.

i think the rule to move the titan just to the first silo wont work imo

This is exacly wot happened to me yesturday morning when i joined suez only with static titans. I got around 8 points and left for timeless titan. I doubt Ash will change to fixed titan but some people wanna change. Personally timeless already caters for a lot of regular AND non regular players as is... why change for a minority, or for non regular timeless players? They can moan and winge for me, they should find some server they would be happy in....

The *only* reason why you would want to have static titans IMHO would be to prevent lag caused by the AA gun spam. The people who do this really pi** me off - I just can't understand it - WHY would you want to sit in a titan AA gun and continually shoot the enemy shield?
Bad commanding (relating to the positioning of the titan) doesn't help with this either - the titans should be positioned 'shield-to-shield' and slightly off-centre - this way the AA guns can only actually hit a bit of one side of the roof - sometimes titans end up back-to-back tough, centered - in these situations it is AA frenzy as they can see all of the back and roof of the enemy titan
This is without doubt a bug. You *SHOULD* be able to continually shoot the enemy shield with the AA guns if you want - it shouldn't cause the lag that it does - EA/Dice should fix it.

yes i very much agree, this is down to bad game engine/programming, wot else can it be? Static titans/Non static titans.... find a server that suits you, stop winging about lag/titan gun whores/titans too close/too far/sheilds spam etc etc or deal with it if ur gonna stay coz the design of the game aint gonna change. I personnally hate lag BUT i see an advantage to the lag and make use of it when there is no way around it and still i keep comin for timeless for a reliable and good service. Lag or no lag ur gonna get the rough and the smooth on every server.
