EPoX eh? In the immortal words of the famous celebrity-chef-cum-presenter Ainsley Harriot: "What is he like ladies and gentlemen?"
Had a blinder of a round last night (by anyone's standards)...ended the round with 154 points and 77 kills....and EPoX still beat me by a considerable amount :mrgreen: . He ended on about 176 points I think.
The thing is that it wasn't your usual run-of-the-mill EPoX round - he started slowly as usual, but then crept up without many kills - just a whole lot of teamwork points. At one point he had over 100 teamwork points with only a handful of kills.
I reckon he got lucky on repairing the titan guns or something. It's funny 'cos the old engineers are a quiet bunch aren't they? Support are reasonably vocal: "I can resupply you". Assault are pretty verbose: "You're alright, now get back in there", or "come here, you're hurt" (this one always makes me laugh - sounds like he really means "ah, you're hurt, come and have a cuddle" :D ). Engineers on the other hand just seem to repair stuff then off they trot without a word. Maybe they don't like to be referred to as 'Grease Monkey' or something, and they are just begrudgingly fixing stuff while swearing under their breath? ;)
The point I'm getting at is that I'm seeing EPoX get all these teamwork points, but not seeing much spam, so I'm thinking he must have been repairing stuff. Anyway, it's all good fun....I wouldn't come to Timless if it wasn't challenging! :D
