View Full Version : MP not workiing
Each time I try to alter the GFX settings it Crashes to desktop with a Direct X error.
I have tried reinstalling Direct X to no avail, and it only does it when I upp the res from the default 800 by 600 to anything other than that.
Bloody annoying and I am so close to taking it back for trade in since the single player is a dissapointly easy challenge..
Yeah damn good but I was looking for the challenge... and I thought I would load up MP and come head shoot a few people.
Then this happens I cannot change the GFX settings
Reinstalled Direct X and it works :D yay I have MP.
Goto run SP.
Same error and that worked before?
Change em manually in the .cfg file this worked for me. If i change the smooth smoke edge setting i get the DX error. Everything else had been manually changed in the .cfg file

Bit OTT for a brand new game, who did they beta test it with a blind one armed man who only spoke ancient hebrew and thought a stick was a complex piece of equipment?
Lolz as always we need a patch as soon as the game is released. If you need help with this file, gimme a shout but it is quite straight forward file editing. Its annoying as hell though, can't change many settings without a DX error +CTD. :/
Reinstalling now, I went on MP and it's hell and then some, dead...spawn..dead..spawn...dead...spawn THROW FRAG....kill three of my own.. but i got the bugger.

I reinstalled the game and wham all is fine, the MP is mental... to put it shortly.
One thing though, BOOM headshot is so back in fashion with that sniper rifle :D mental fun mental mental brilliant game. :D never had so much fun in MP and SP.
Yeah i always like the dragnov sniper rifle in Project IGI... it had a massive range in this game. I just unlocked it in COD4 so i might try it out soon. ;)
